Bosch Fridge/Freezer Door Hinges 29 January 2013
Having replaced the fridge door hinges when they were just out of guarantee, the freezer door hinges failed after 3 years. I ordered another pair of hinges from Espares. They are straight forward to fit the 2nd time but a special screw driver bit is required for the screws. The other tip is to remove a plastic cover from the top inside edge of the door first. See instructions or obtain more information on the web. It is a joy to have a smoothly operating door.

Top hinge broke so door would either not close or not open properly. Identified correct hinge using E-Spares guide. Happy to replace both at the same time as failure of one may have damaged the other hinge. Better price than else where and not so expensive considering the weight they carry every day for many years. Delivered in 3 days. Good service. Fitted by kitchen fitter to avoid probs.

A Xmas repair 02 January 2013
Within a few days of Xmas a piece of plastic broke in my Bosch fridge door hinge preventing the door shutting properly.Looked up e spares [1st time customer]ordered and got delivered within 3 days.Read other reviews which I found helpful.Since I am not a handyman I got a friend [who was] to help me.He had a ratchet screw driver that gets into tight corners and the necessary screw heads.Took 2 of us whilst removing and refitting door [1 to take the weight and other operating screwdriver] and the whole job took 35 minutes.Replaced both hinges as advised and fingers crossed the plastic [why plastic???] in my new hinges will last at least another 5 years.

Complex piece of equipment 25 December 2012
I didn't know that fridge hinges would ever need to be changed, much less that they would cost so much. I guess they need to be very special so as to hold the heave weight of the doors and provide the neat daily functionality they deliver. I imagine a lot of engineering goes into them.

The price was slightly cheaper than the competition. It is a pity that it is not possible to buy the hinges individually, as it is rare that both would fail at the same time. Delivery time was quick.

Easier than I thought it would be 22 November 2012
This is the second time a hinge has failed on my NEFF fridge/ freezer, first on the fridge door, then on the freezer door. The first time I got a professional fitter, but this time I took the plunge and did it myself. It turned out to be quite straightforward, though as the instructions say you do have to be careful the spring hinge does not snap back on your fingers while fitting. Usual good service from e-spares.

Expensive for two hinges 21 November 2012
Rather expensive for two hinges but easy to replace and they work well. Just be careful when removing door from the fridge and better to have a second person holding it as you remove the screws.
