  Tips on Fitting 30 November 2017

  Part delivered promptly. To fit it yu need the plastic hinge component. The long vertical edge of the hinge component abuts the fridge side. Warm up the hinge component in hot water. Fit top into handle and into door hinge locator (Take door off to do the fitting). With handle near enough flat against the door push it into place. Some pressure needed. The plastic hinge components locates into bottom door hole and clips into handle in one operation. Good luck, takes time and patience but remember someone is fitting these every few minutes!

  Unfortunately I was unable to fit new door 04 November 2017

  Unfortunately I was unable to fit the door as I broke the fittings on the original door. I should have gone to spec savers. Worth a try although I now need to replace the entire door.

  once fitted - great. but difficult to fit 01 November 2017

  First make sure that you are fitting the spindle and catch the right way round! Duuh - but I did not the first time. If you can, look at the door carefully before taking the old handle off the door and as you dismantle it (or take pics on phone). Finally - try running hot water over the assembly for a while before fitting. For me this softened the plastic enough to make pressing the bits together MUCH easier.

  Job done in 10 mins. 09 July 2017

  Thought I may have to buy a new fridge, as the Evaporator Door Handle broke away in my hand rendering the little freezer virtually useless. Then I looked up espares website and sure enough they had a spare handle. Take the door off to replace the handle, by removing the hinge screw at RH side. Found it a bit difficult to see what I was doing due to position of handle pins, but job was done in 10 mins with a little care not to force the plastic.

  Great replacement part 01 March 2017

  Exact replacement for the broken handle, just the job. My only bad point is no fitting instructions and as the broken handle had already come off/apart I didn't see how it was fitted together, so after trying many times I eventually figured it out (and yes I tried Google/YouTube for a fitting video with no luck) otherwise very happy.

  Worthy item! 26 February 2017

  After having taken a degree in Engineering (I am kidding of course) the handle fits very well and my fridge looks as new now. I advise the purchase of this item if your handle (of your LEC fridge) is broken as mine before. Cheers!
