  No more leaks! 09 April 2014

  My 15 year old Neff dishwasher is one of the oldest any of the area plumbers can remember. But as I have always had an electrolytic scale inhibitor since moving in, I expect my kit to last. I changed out the soap dispenser last year. Now I've changed out the door seal. Both jobs were easier than expected, despite requiring disassembly of the door. Just a word of warning, if you have a fitted dishwasher like mine: you have to muscle it a bit in reattaching the sprung side hinges to the door. This is because you can't undo and reattach the spring clips as advised in the online installation video. I slid a bit of cotton ribbon behind the sprung side hinge so I could tension it separately from the door while lining up the holes and screwing them back together. It was still a bit tricky, and it's useful to have an assistant to take the weight of the door while you do it. Now the door seal works perfectly, stopping any leak when opened mid-cycle.   Ordered a door seal from espares for my Bosch dishwasher, I would not have taken this job on without the excellent video tutorial from espares. Took a couple of hours but saved me a call out and repair bill.

  The lower door seal was well made and fitted well. As an engineer I found your online instruction video very useful, allowing to pause for each step, so I could check that I hadn`t forgot each separate procedure. It would have been difficult to fit properly without the video instructions.

  Best service ive ever known 16 February 2014

  Dishwasher seal blew Sunday morning, identified it, searched for vendors online. E Spares site kept coming up as the easiest to use and to match the part required to the machine. I ordered the seal, thinking it would get despatched Monday afternoon for delivery Tuesday afternoon, very happy to recieve an e-mail, informing me the seal had been despatched and collected by the carrier on the Sunday. Seal arrived Monday lunchtime, followed the instructions with the seal, dishwasher was back in use a little over 24hrs after it failed. Best service ive ever experienced, chuffed!
