Good quality product 05 December 2017
Good quality product; However not the easiest thing to fit, when the dishwasher is integrated. Make sure you view the eSpares video before you start it makes things a lot easier. Took me a few hours to fit but that was mostly trying to remove the dishwasher from its mounting. The actual fitting of the seal took around 45 minutes.

very pleased with the service 10 February 2016
Tha part i required was easy to find and order. Delevery was quick. If you look at the price of the part against the price of a new machine then the part was expensive.

Adequate replacement 19 September 2013
It does the job, fitted in less than one hour by someone who has never fitted one before. You just need a couple of star-head screwdrivers. (Torx). The seal is a different, clearly cheaper, design using more plastic and less stainless steel, but if it works, that'll be ok. No leaks yet. Older machine like mine is a little different to the one in the video as the hinge pin doesn't simply release as shown. I needed to leave the pin in place and remove the hinge arm from the door, then risk it falling down onto me.

Great Product - essential installation video 21 August 2013
This is not a job for anyone that might be afraid of getting their hands dirty... What made the difference was the excellent espares video of how to install the lower door seal which went through all the steps clearly. One thing I found was that the hinge release was a different design on my machine and I got round this by unscrewing the door from the hinge a step earlier than the video - just made the reassembly a little more fiddly.

Tricky to fit but cheaper than a new dishwasher 10 January 2013
Whilst the video showed the removal of the door this didn't cover an integrated dishwasher (like mine) and so the job was a bit trickier than anticipated. Despite this, fitting the seal itself was easy and the quality of the product and the customer service from espares was first class.

Easy fit part 20 November 2012
Item arrived promptly in Australia as always. A lot easier to fit than the powder and rinse-aid dispenser, despite the video. Note that out dishwasher had a different style of seal than the one supplied, but I am guessing that's product improvement etc. Ours had a stainless steel pressing that was quite substantial and held the rubber in small square finger cutouts. The supplied part was a direct replacement fit and was straightforward to do. If you do have a leaking lower seal then check that your breather in the washing chamber is not blocked by either grime or a soft item being cleaned before replacing. I read up on the net of people having water forced by this seal due to this pressure release port on the right inside being blocked by an 'IKEA flexible chopping board'. Our machine does not have this port on the side but uses the dispenser to vent pressure. I bought one of these from espares as ours was leaking rinse-aid. Unfortunately it was incompatible with our machine (my fault not espares). I modified the dispenser by cutting out the blocked port on the dry side. Unfortunately the vent system was not present under the detergent draw (when open)in the machine side, so the new seal also leaked until I realised that there was no pressure vent with the new dispenser. One for espares to maybe advise customers of, but not their fault, 100% mine as I bought a part not listed for a siemens edition 150 washer.

Better value than a new door 29 August 2012
A local company would not supply a replacement seal They said it was too difficult to fit. They only supply replacement doors with seal fitted. I bought the seal from you and a friend helped me to fit it. So far I am not having problems.

Leaking dishwasher door solved 17 February 2018
Managed to fit the part with the help of the video from eSpares. The spare part fitted well and the job worked as expected as I now have no leaks from the dishwasher door.
