Only needed the door from it so seemed expensive as took the door off and fitted it to the old dispenser. Quick and easy though.

This was easy to fit i had no trouble, but I found that the instructions was so basic could have been better laid out. ok if you have a bit of savvy but if you haven't you might panic a bit.

Easy to install and value for money. 04 August 2011
I was very nervous about fitting this item. However with the aid of yr video and my son laptop, I completed the job within 20 mins, whoop! whoop! Not bad for a girl hey. My only critism there was an additional wire on my AEG F80820W dishwasher, which I had not intially been aware whilst taking out the old part. Also unaccounted for in yr video where 6 screws. Luckily I photographed the old part in situ before removing.Therefore having a point of refence to go back to.

Very quickly delivered, Looked completely different. Instruction about electric refering to unheard of bits and what should be done with them. Needed coffee with a shot. Sat down - and relooked at website video -- and the little grey cells took over. Courage up - took 15 mins to remove old piece and refit new and have the machine tested and running perfectly. Had another shot as reward. Simplicity itself - Thank you E-spares .. it was the video that worked for me

Really easy to replace. I could have done it blindfolded. You wont need to buy a new dishwasher just because the soap dispenser is broken.

This came with no instructions whatsoever but, after careful examination, it was obvious what needed to be done and, in fact, the job took me only 1/2 an hour from start to finish.

Replacing the soap / rinse aid dispenser 28 November 2010
Having experienced difficulty obtaining a replacement cutlery basket for our AEG dishwasher I had already discovered the e-spares web site, so when the catch on the rinse aid dispenser broke I went on line to look for a replacement. Fortunately the site links to a video demonstrating how to make the switch as it is not obvious how the unit is removed. The video explains the process clearly and the unit is almost the same as the one it replaces. The AEG dishwasher is slightly different to the one in the video which from memory is a Bosch. Consequently the front of the door wants to fall off during the process which caused momentary concern. The wiring connections for the new unit are also slightly different and I was not 100% confident I had understood the instructions in this regard until I turned the unit back on and it worked. The adaptor is the wire at the bottom of the picture. It would have been easier with a second pair of hands to hold the door whilst performing removal and reattachment.Fitting is straightforward and only required phillips head screwdriver and pliers for a stiff connector. For someone who does not usually disassemble dishwashers there was a degree of anxiety until completion but this is actually straightforward. When the door front falls off there is a risk to the wiring which spans the inner and outer parts of the door.

I don't usually write reviews, but this is definitely one to recommend. Superfast delivery, great communication, excellent item. Even do I am very hands on and a keen DIYer, I was very impressed with how easy it was to replace the Soap dispenser unit. It probably took me 15 from start to finish. As said before: very impressive :o)
