Changed both filters, which is dead easy and its like haveing a new cleaner. We didn't realise how bad it had got.

Great filter, used in a DC08 Animal and I can't recall it ever having as good suction when new. However after 3 hoovers of the whole house, not quite as good as the first time.

Essential item for Dysons 31 August 2009
The Hepa filter is essential but very expensive for what it is - I see that one can buy a whole plastic 'bin' for a Dyson for less than the Hepa filter!

Great video! 02 July 2009
I have just received a new set of filters for my ancient DC04 and what a difference! I watched the video showing how to change both filters and thought it looked easy enough even for a senior citizen to attempt. It only took me 5 minutes to change both filters and I am so impressed with the difference. My carpets have come up as good as new. Thank you espares you are on my favourites list.

Genuine Dyson Part, Improves Dirt Pickup 19 December 2008
After cleaning up a soot fall, the fine soot particals passed through the main centrifugal filter and contaminated the Dyson Post Filter in my DC08 Animal. I cleaned the vacuum internals and the washable filters, but it continued to smell of soot for a couple of months. Although the vacuum had stopped smelling I knew the post filter had been contaminated and decided to change it when I had some spare cash. It cost more than I would have liked, but the filter arrived quickly (2-3 days), was a genuine Dyson part, was easy to fit and also (supprisingly) improved the dirt pickup as well. So I am very pleased with my purchase.
