Full suction regained 26 September 2011
Although classed as "for life" when I removed the original it was apparent that the filter was very dirty and must have been interfering with the air flow for some time. Having fitted the new one I was amazed at the degree of improved performance.

I now have a new Dyson! 14 June 2011
My beloved Dyson was giving up on me. Thought I would have to buy new. After purchasing a new motor from espares and various small parts including this one I now have a new Dyson for a fraction of the cost. Eighty quid versus three hundred (and the rest!) no contest. Well done espares!

Our DC08 began to lose its suction, having cleaned the top filter and the suction unit, the only other option was to replace the bottom filter or purchase a new hoover. This filter is an integral part of the hoover and being unable to clean it, made it's replacement essential. The price is a bit steep, but the result of replacement was worth it. Worth changing after a couple of years. Espares were brilliant as always.

Easy Way to Buy Spares 06 October 2010
I ordered a pre motor filter for a Dyson DC5. Got it within three days. Then needed a post motor filter. Again delivered within three days. What I didn't know was both these filters were washable. My mistake - but at least I have new filters and the vacuum works like new. Need to order some Proline cooker hood accessories now. Brilliant service.

Until my brother fitted a new filter I hadn't realised how sluggish my Dyson had become. I will certainly be keeping an eye on it in the future and not leaving it so long. The suction has improved 100%.

Part supplied was brand new and was easy to fit. i did have a problem ordering on the website so I phoned instead. Using the hose on my dyson worked great,but did not pick up when hoovering the carpet normally, Urr! now I think I need a new brush!
