We understand most insurance companies will only accept an alarm that has been professionally installed and has a maintenance contract but check with your insurance company for further clarification.
Hi, I was wondering whether there are pet friendly PIRs available for this alarm and if so do you sell them? 1 Answer

Chris at eSpares says...
We are sorry but do not have any 'pet friendly' alarms available at the moment.

We are sorry but did not record the alarm sound as it is not possible to demonstrate this effectively. !05db is similar to the noise of a large sporting event (football crowd when a goal is scored).
Can you add more sensors to the system?

Chris at eSpares says...
There will be a flashing led to indicate the batteries are becoming exhausted. Adding additional sensors is not a problem , download the user guide for more information.
In one of the answers you have replied that there maybe a mains option for the control board - Is there ? 1 Answer

There is a 5 volt USB connector at the back of the control unit that can run the panel. This is shown in the detailed instruction manual you can download from the instructions. We do not currently stock the adapter.
Will this Honywell alarm transmit and work
-
Chris at eSpares says...
We have no way of confirming if the signal will penetrate the walls so cannot advise on this. The distance quoted is likely to be reduced depending on materials between the transmitter and receiver.

No they all can be operated from their fitted batteries but there may be a mains option for the control board.
the reason for the question is, if I fitted a sensor to my garage which is 100 metres away from the house. Would the main house alarm activate? thank you R Cambell

Chris at eSpares says...
If your house alarm is 'on' the garage sensor should activate the alarm if of it can chime the alarm panel. The maximum range of 200 metres can be reduced by walls and other objects.
