The 'wireless' fobs are not remote controls but proximity devices to be 'held' against the panel so are unlikely to be suitable for 'remote setting' at your garage (unless the control panel was there).

A 4 digit code is used to ensure that only authorised people have access to the system. This is the User Access Code and can be set to a code of your choice that only you have access to.
Are additional sensors available with this kit? We would need four. If the answer is yes, may we assume the system is capable of covering 4 sensors? 1 Answer

The Door Window Sensor has two parts; a sensor and a magnet. They are designed to be fitted to doors or windows with the magnet mounted on the opening part of the door/window and the sensor mounted to the frame.
Can spiders or flies affect the PIR and set off the alarm.? It will be in a country environment and a holiday home. 1 Answer

It is very unlikely the sensor would be sensitive enough to detect normal house spiders in the UK.
I'd would like to fit a sensor in a garage/shed. Obviously in winter months it would be very cold. Would these sensors be suitable?

We believe this should be possible, however the sensors are only suitable for dry internal use.
The keypad has facility to connect an external power supply via a built in USB connector. If I leave the batteries in place in case of a power cut, does the keypad use the batteries or USB power during normal usage?
