    The 'wireless' fobs are not remote controls but proximity devices to be 'held' against the panel so are unlikely to be suitable for 'remote setting' at your garage (unless the control panel was there).

    The Door Window Sensor has two parts; a sensor and a magnet. They are designed to be fitted to doors or windows with the magnet mounted on the opening part of the door/window and the sensor mounted to the frame.

I'd would like to fit a sensor in a garage/shed. Obviously in winter months it would be very cold. Would these sensors be suitable?

    We believe this should be possible, however the sensors are only suitable for dry internal use.

The keypad has facility to connect an external power supply via a built in USB connector. If I leave the batteries in place in case of a power cut, does the keypad use the batteries or USB power during normal usage?

    While plugged in to the adapter the unit will be powered by the mains and should revert to battery only if the power should fail.

I am interested in the HS331S Honeywell Home Alarm Kit. Can you advise if the alarm sounder has a maximum sound duration if it triggers when not at home

    The alarm can be set to either ten minutes or 3 minutes activation before it will automatically reset.
