  Simple to use 23 March 2010

  I bought this for my husband who likes things to be uncomplicated. This fitted the bill perfectly. I put in the model of our present remote on espares site before buying and this came up. He just put in batteries, pressed the power button and the tv was on and all the controls worked perfectly. It has only been used for the tv as all we wanted was a replacement for the worn out tv remote control.

  My original Panasonic remote failed, tried some other "compatible" units but they did not have half the required functions. Espares search facility was brillaint - exact model traceability ensured when I got the item it worked perfectly

  When it came to the Nationwide Freeview Re-tune we had a problem because although the remote that we had with our second hand telly was a Panasonic, it would not let us access the settings on the menu. So, we thought we would have a telly that was no use - until we saw this compatible remote on espares. We checked our model number against the models that the compatible remote was supposed to cover and hoped for the best as the correct Panasonic Remote costs £96.00 and this one is only £13.00. When it arrived we pressed the buttons and did a re-tune and now have an up to date TV. What could be simpler than that?

  Replacement Remote Control 09 October 2009

  Item took over a week to arrive, but that was due to postal service problems. Very happy with the remote control, very easy to use as buttons are arranged as close as possible to the original 's design. Will thoroughly recommend.

  Good quality product at a fraction of the price of genuine part with all the functionality of the original. The layout is neater than the original but perhaps not quite as ergonomic, though you soon adjust to this.
