Poor design and quality 11 March 2009
The mesh had become detached from the plastic frame during delivery and was promptly replaced by eSpares using more robust packaging. After only two uses a hole formed in the mesh on the replacement, greatly reducing its effectiveness as a filter. This is a genuine spare but the original design is poor and the quality of manufacture is clearly not good enough.

Good Fluff Filter 11 December 2008
The fluff filter I purchased for my wife's tumble dryer was excellent. It fitted well into the place it was supposed to fit. As far as I am aware it works just as well as the original filter which after 5 years snapped in half.

having had the hinge on my filter fall apart in my hand I turned to espares for help and within days the item was ordered ,paid for ,dispatched and fitted by me in my tumbledrier,what great service !

These filters are fine. A better fit than some I've had and also a better price. But the overall design is a pain. The filter needs to be opened to remove the fluff and the plastic "hinge" breaks after a while. It's not a faulty item or anything - just a silly way of doing things.

Prompt despatch. Exactly the right part but unfortunately was let down by the packaging. The filter mesh arrived with a hole in it. Needs a bit more than a piece of bubble wrap and a jiffy bag. Customer service didn't quibble with sending a replacement and ordered extra packaging - waiting to take safe delivery of that one.
