    Design woes 02 August 2013

This is the third rear wheel fitted to my McCullock lawn mower and all have failed where the hub joins the wheel. Fine when mowing in a straight line but any sideways stress fractures the plastic at the hub. A mcCullock design disaster at the customers expense. E spares service was again first class.

    Never easier 21 July 2013

Having tried other suppliers, Espares had all the correct information, had a very easy site to use and shipped really quickly. Many thanks.

Second wheel to break in 6 months 31 May 2013

I agree with all of the other reviews. There is a clear design fault with these wheels that lead to them cracking. My lawn mower is great, but the issue with the wheels means I won't ever buy a McCulloch mower again.

Worst Wheels ever 08 June 2012

This wheel has failed our mower for the forth time, I even resorted to a Husqvarna brand wheel which lasted a longer than the McCulloch wheel but again has also failed. This is a serious design flaw, disgrace to manufacturer and designer. Not happy at all with McCulloch......hope they listen and do something about it.

McCulloch Rear Wheel Fault. 28 April 2012

This is the second wheel to break on my M7053 petrol mower. The design is not study enough for this heavy mower. The plastic spokes break away from the spindle as the moulded plastic design is poor and faulty. McCullock need to be aware of this problem as this is not a cheap mower and is an expense to keep changing a new wheel. This proves from other customers feed-back experiencing the same problem.

The weakest link in an otherwise 4 star product. 21 March 2012

This the fourth wheel in four years.Rear nearside wheel has failed three times. The Plastic moulding for the spokes fails around the steel hub (bearing). I have made a replacement wheel using the part worn tread and metal bearing both of which have plenty miles of mowing left. Mower £360 - four new wheels £140 ! Regards I.

    Not satisfied 05 August 2011

This is the sixth wheel purchased. They always brake at the hub. There seems to be a serious weakness with this product.

    POOR SHOW 04 July 2011

ONLY TWO YEARS OLD AND ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE A REAR WHEEL AND LOOKING AT THE OTHER REVIEWS THERE ARE QUITE A FEW OTHERS THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. REPLACEMENT WHEEL IS EXPENSIVE AND IT DOES NOT LOOK AS THOUGH THE DESIGN HAS IMPROVED.

A very much needed Replacement Wheel 17 May 2011

Hope this lasts longer than one of the original wheels which due to the plastic spokes breaking, fell off after using for under 2 years - Other wheel has just dropped off, so very glad I ordered another for a spare. Seems that I will need another one soon to keep as spare. The replacement wheels look slightly different from originals, which obviously had a design fault. McCulloch please note the wheel design was (hopefully is not now) a weakness on an otherwise brilliant machine.
