  Good replacement parts 08 March 2021

  The parts were good, took longer to arrive than expected. fitting, The video available on the website is too generic, its sort of a help but the model I have wasnt that easy to access, but it was a guide. Unfortunatly it didnt fix the Bosch motor problem as the tacho was blown by the excess carbon

  Carbon brushes 07 April 2020

  One of them seemed a bit tight. But so was the old one that I removed (or what was left of it). A bit of a hoover out and a spray of contact cleaner and it fitted ok. Had to take the motor out. Hoping I wouldn't have to and the brass bits were a bit fiddly but by no means the worst or hardest repair I've had to carry out. For £8odd and an hour of my time, the machine is buzzing away back in the laundry doing what it should!

  Cheap fix for motor fault 30 March 2018

  Our washing machine is 16 years old and never missed a beat until now. The pump was working but the drum didn't rotate so I checked the belt, which was ok, so I thought the next most likely fault would be the brushes. Took one out and could see it was worn down to about 10mm, ordered a new set of brushes, removed the motor fitted them and put the machine back together, job done. The only annoying part was the delivery courier mucking up the delivery instructions.

  The brushes were straightforward to fit albeit a bit fiddly to push the springs in place and secure the clip. Worked fine when they were located correctly

  So that is what a carbon brush is! 06 November 2017

  A complete novice repairing domestic equipment I was faced with a broken down washing machine. Motor was whirring, pump working but no drum movement. Must a belt I thought. Well it wasn't. Prompted by the excellent and inspiring how to videos, I took to replacing the carbon brushes as a challenge. A bit fiddly, but with the confidence gained from the video, I now have a fully working washing machine for the price of a couple of carbon brushes. Thank-you espares! My Mum's vacuum next!!

  Did the job but I had to re-shape the terminals 01 November 2017

  The carbon brushes did the job. They fixed my washing machine. Fitting them took longer than expected though as the shape of the terminal was different from the original as in they were slightly wider. This meant I had to cut and file off a bit of the terminals to allow it to fit under the motor lugs. I could have saved myself about an hour if they had fitted first time.

  Washing Machine carbon brushes 08 June 2016

  I found the carbon brushes god value for money considering it was delivered at m home address. The job itself is not straight forward, it is a fiddly job inserting the spring of the brushes. But then how much it would cost to call a professional! I am happy with the result.
