  Initially I just needed a replacement glass cover, but couldn't be certain which size was required. Then I broke the bulb when I tried to remove the assembly so I decide to order a complete replacement. When it arrived I tried the glass cover on the old fitting and it fitted, so I was spared the business of removing the back plate to get the old assembly out so I now have a spare. Piece of cake really.

  Works as it should 14 November 2013

  The lamp assembly is just fine. The problems came with trying to remove the old one. I am a competent mechanic and it took me 2 hours of faffing and, finally, mangling to get the old one and its surrounding steel holder out. I found one fairly helpful YouTube video on this procedure but it wasn't the same as mine. Once out, the new lamp assembly fitted easily into the tunnel at the back of the oven and worked fine.

  Replace the lamp! 18 October 2013

  bought this to replace a broken glass, found the thread different to the original so had to fit the whole assembly, difficult to remove the old one you have to examine the new one first to see how the sprung steel fits in and watch your fingers it's sharp, once fitted it is brilliant !

  A great product 08 April 2013

  This product lights up your oven with ease, now you can see whats burning. Very easy to fit that anybody can do it, three screws and three wires, but the light might not be in the best of places for some people but still worth having a go.
