Vacuum Cleaner Drive Belt - Pack of 2 Stock Number: ES509750
Genuine spare part for select models of Dyson vacuum cleaners
I'm after a belt to fit from the clutch to the brush belt. I understand this is different from the motor to clutch belt so I was wondering which belts are included?
- There is only one belt on a dyson vac so if you buy the 2 in a pack set you will always have a spare
- There are two clutch to brush bar belts in the pack.
- I find it easier to use a piece of strong thick string to pull the belt back and over, use thick string because thin stuff can cut the belt..
- With difficulty, a tapered handled screwdriver and a resolve to fix it even though my eighty some years old fingers didn't enjoy the process.

There is a clutch 'knob' on the left of the base that when lifted to the park position rotates and stops the brushes. If this is in the off position the brushes do not engage when lowered. If this knob turns correctly then the clutch belt may have failed from the motor to the clutch unit.
Not sure if I need a special screwdriver to get at the drive belt.

You do not generally need any special tools to replace the belt. To dismantle the machine the only special tool needed is a long torx screwdriver like in this kit Stock Number: ES1251179
I have the DC07 all floors that needs two belts, does this pack do the clutch and the motor belt. 1 Answer

Hi Sandi, this is a pack of 2 drive, or motor, belts. The clutch belt is this one: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/dyson/dc07-all-floors/p/1086/716/6/420506/188716/vacuum-cleaner-clutch-bel.html?ms=902514-01

Hi Treena, there is many upright Dyson vacuum models. If you quote me your model's specific model number, I'd be happy to try and find the instruction manual for it.
Will this part fit my appliance?
