Middle of fridge is hot between fridge and freezer door. Will fan replacement solve this? Don’t believe it’s functioning properly. 1 Answer

This fan supplies airflow around the freezer and wouldn't normally affect between the fridge and freezer door, ensure the motor is running correctly and the temperature is ok.
I have a samsung side by side American freezer the bottom of fridge is freezing up and top of freezer is not freezing properly I think it might be fan 1 Answer

You would need to test the fan with a multimeter to determine if it has failed.
the freezer is making a noise, if I open the door it stops. Its a Samsung American Fridge Freezer model RSA1UTMG. Do you think I need to change the fan mtor ? 1 Answer

It is likely the fan bearing could be noisy but you would need to confirm it has failed before ordering.
Freezer defrosted last week showing a freezer fan fault. Defrosted the fan but this has happened again. I think I may need a new fan. The model is samsung rs21dpsm. Could you point me in right direction as to which parts I need to order. It's 11 year old and never had this problem before.

This could be caused by a build-up of ice, test the fan motor and defrost heater for continuity as if it’s not defrosted correctly could interfere with the fan.
I believe the fan blades are held on by some form of spring. I was wondering how easy it was to move from the old to the new motor.

The fan is simply pushed onto the shaft, use a screwdriver shaft to knock the hub off the spindle by hitting the handle.
