Universal Antiflood Aqua Stop Appliance Hose

So you have found your way to this article - unless you’re doing some light reading we can take a guess that the hose in your washing machine or even dishwasher may have burst or is leaking flooding your floor.

Unlike our other how to articles - this piece is here to highlight the benefit of an anti-flood aqua stop hose. Designed to automatically close off a leak or burst leaving your kitchen to fall at the hands of a flood.

A benefit of the aqua stop hose is that it has a two layer construction which keeps the water inside the outer hose if and when the hose bursts or loses water. The escaping water pressure is then used to turn off the valve.

This video shows an example on how to remove or replace the part on a typical machine, some models may be different but the procedure should be similar.
