eSpares Universal Cooker Knobs

Control knobs can be expensive or even worse they may no longer be available for your model. We here at eSpares can supply most varieties of control knobs but if the genuine are not available or too expensive don’t fret because we have some cost effective universal replacements to help solve your woes.

A common cause to your control knobs becoming faulty, is from heat escaping from the door.If the seal has worn then heat will escape leading to your knobs heating up and melting. This video shows an example on how to remove or replace the part on a typical machine, some models may be different but the procedure should be similar.

Being economical, these alternatives are a fantastic replacement when the originals are not on offer but require replacing.With 3 different colours: white, silvery grey and black. Along with adapters to ensure that they can fit the 3 most common size shafts which are used on most cookers. The adapters allow the knob to fit shafts above the panel surface or up to 7 millimeters below the panel surface.

Safety First! Please make sure that you have switched off or disconnected the appliance from the mains before beginning any repair.

To Fit

Using any of the suitable adapters, push it onto the appliance’s shaft while the control knob is in the off position. One done now align the knob top to the off position and push that onto the adapter.

It is worth noting that these knobs are not meant to match the existing original knobs but to simply offer a cheaper alternative to an expensive or no longer available original and can help get your cooker looking smart once again.
