  Preview reviews told me that all you needed to do was unwrap the product insert batteries and away you go. It was as easy as that. The issue of controlling the volumne is an other matter. I just carried on using the TV contoller rather than the sky controller.

  Feels better than the original one 14 January 2013

  I needed to get a new remote as the "0" and "Backup" buttons werent working properly. I shopped around but everywhere I looked seemed a bit expensive to me. Then I thought of espares and saw that their price was a fair bit cheaper so I ordered it from them. Like my heading reads, the buttons feels so firm it feels better than the original remote. espares kept me up to date all the way with the progress of the order and delivery was fairly quick as well. Good job espares! Keep up the good work! By the way, I enjoy watching the videos you send with the email subscription. They will come very handy at some point.

  Item arrived in good time. Bought to replace original remote that no longer controlled the volume or mute functions of sky + HD box. Whilst instructions are clear, purchasers need to be aware that the Rev 9 versions of the remote may need a different set up code for their tv. These are readily available on the Internet. Once I had the correct code, set up was very simple and quick. The new remote works perfectly.

  Delivered promptly,fitted batteries & worked perfectly until I tried the volume button.I then relised that you have to enter a 4 digest code for my Sony Bravia TV. I obtained this of the internet, punched in the code, followed the instructions & hey presto volume button working! This is a well made product by Phillips & it is the same quality as the origional Sky remote.Side by side you can not tell the differance. If anyone is looking to replace their old Sky remote this is the one to purchace.5*
