  The original handle locking screws and fittings on my daughter's Flymo MLite 28 had failed rendering it impossible to use and the mower was about to be scrapped. I purchased a handle fixing kit for £4.49 which arrived within 2 days fitting took less than 15mins the mower is now back in use at a fraction of the cost of a new mower thus proving beyond reasonable doubt its far more cost effective to repair than replace

  NOT AS SIMPLE AS i FIRST THOUGHT 30 September 2011

  The quality of this item is first class, however, this is slightly different to the original fitting. Instead of simply threading the bold through the handle and turning the nob until tight, now you need to turn the lawnmower on it's side, threading the nob / bolt from underneath and carefully locating the nut. A pity the manafacturer did not just allow for a screwdriver to be used in the bolt's head...simple

  I found the handle repair kit very effective except that the screw tight plastic parts would work loose unless tightened down very hard. Once I had grasped this and dealt with it the handle repair kit did its job well.
