  New Seal 11 August 2014

  I purchased this seal to replace one that was covered in mould. Had already looked on youtube to see if anyone had done a video. Sure enough someone had!!. Ordered this part and replaced it following the video. Took me about an hour as took my time but an easy job. Hardest bit was putting new seal on. But i took pics as i took it apart so just used these as a guide too. Now it feels like i have a new machine all for 25 quid. Thanks e spares more money saved!!.

  Good quality replacement for door seal 04 July 2014

  Easy to fit once you know how - see the espares video. Part has got a 'strange' flap which aligns with a mark on the outer drum when positioned correctly - how lucky is that!! Use plastic tyre levers to replace the retaining clamps and it's much easier.

  Fantastic! 18 June 2014

  I wish I'd found this site sooner. My washing machine wasn't leaking but the hard to reach bits of the seal were full of residue and dirt and kept leaving dirty streaks on my washing. Following the instructions on the video, my husband managed to change the seal in about half an hour and said it couldn't have been easier. I'd definitely recommend Espares to others. Great value, great product, I couldn't be happier!

  Great Video. 05 June 2014

  Thanks for the very helpful video. I also having fitted the seal found that the door wouldn't close but it was because I had not pushed the door lock mechanism through the square hole far enough. Redoing it and hey presto. So thanks again.

  Washing Machine Door Seal 25 April 2014

  Followed the e spares Utube video (which was very helpful) however after fitting the seal found the washing machine door would not catch on to lock, took the seal off and refitted it only to find the door catch wil still not work, (I had read about this probem on the cheaper version of this seal too- so went for the dearer genuine option) overall was a waste of time.

  New seals will make it more difficult to close the door and some additional pressure will be needed until the seal 'moulds' into shape with use. This is normal.

  Don't be tempted by the cheaper one 11 January 2014

  If your original seal looks like this, don't buy the cheaper one even though it is said to be a replacement, as it doesn't fit that well especially around the door.

  Hotpoint Door Seal 12 November 2013

  Door seal arrived promptly and well packaged. Followed online video which was really helpful and fitted the seal in half an hour. It took longer to get machine out and clean behind it etc. than it did to replace door seal. Much cheaper than buying new machine which was spouses other option!!!!
