Too early to rate 05 November 2012
Have only used the descaler once and haven't noticed any difference yet. Hopefully after a few more 'washes' in the dishwasher with the descaler we will see shiny heating elements!!

Smelly Washing Machine 01 June 2010
After use the smell from washing machine had gone but smell has returned after about 1 week so will have to use weekly not monthly. Will have to return to a drop of bleach poured into my machine and left to soak through to pump and left for half hour before draining cycle. My drains have been cleaned by professional and smell definitely returned to my washing machine. If it had teeth I would class it like bad breath smell.

So far does as it claims. Reduced detergent build up most noticeable. Can only be rated as average because I have only used one pack, as I use more I will uprate this review.

I used this because my machine always has a musty smell after use, and I have to say, after using one sachet as per instructions, it still does! Maybe it takes a few sachets. Running my machine at 60 degrees was a shock to my electricity bill, I do everything at 30 these days.

Didn't get rid of washing machine smells 21 November 2009
Used the product as directed, but even after 3 consecutive uses the smells from the washing machine continued. Have followed all of the DIY cleaning instructions on the e-spares video too, but still the smells persisted. Subsequently advised to run a 90 degree wash with a cap of Milton Sterilising fluid in the machine, followed by an empty cotton wash - this has got rid of the smell. Seems the sterilising fluid kills the bacteria causing the smells.

Didn't clean my drawer at all 16 November 2014
One of the reasons I bought this product is that in the picture it shows a very clean detergent drawer after use. I job I don't partially look forward to but it didn't clean mine at all. Leaves me to wonder if it cleaned any if my machine at all. I have a new a*** washing machine so not as if it is old. The door rubber was still dirty. Will keep using only as I've paid for it now.
