Thought I needed a new dishwasher, however, after discussing with a mate decided to try and fix it myself. A few screws to remove, a couple of clips to pull off, then repeat the whole process in reverse. Replacing the lock was very easy even for someone like myself who is technically ungifted. Would definitely recommend the product to anybody who finds themselves in a similar position. Don't worry about it! Save your money and do it yourself.

Original dishwasher catch packed in after about 4 years, this seemed to be the exact replacement. All in all it took about 15 mins to fit this new one and it works a treat. Definitely a DIY job for me and I am certainly no rocket scientist. I have only marked down the quality as being good rather than excellent as the item was only fitted three days ago - if it lasts as long as the original then that will be a result and will be deserving of a 5-star award.

Ordered this for my Electrolux ESL63010. Arrived quickly and was the exact part needed.!. Easy to fit as well = 10min job and only need 1 x screwdriver.

My slimline dishwasher is only 2 years old so was surprised that it had broken all ready. I have always used trademen to mend appliances but spare parts are available for almost everything and it's a better cheaper way of fixing things. I ordered the catch Sat eve, it was dispatched Sunday and received it Wednesday. My only crticism is that the packaging wasn't suitable for the part as the flat cardboard envelope had burst open at the side and the part could easily have fallen out once opening had enlarged.

well its fitted , had to wait six days for it to arrive as it was in a huge envelope . fitted easily as only had to unscrew the door and surface panels to access the catch. Same size and only thing that could have helped would have been a diagram of wire connections . wasnt a problem as fitted them as took off . working for now and just have to wait and see how the same small plastic retaining clips that snapped off hold up on the new one .

Looked up broken dishwasher lock on internet and found espares! Checked model compatibility , watched how to fit video and ordered. Our dishwasher was more complicated to open and access, but with a bit of fiddling, the new lock was fitted in 10 minutes. Brilliant! Much cheaper than a new dishwasher!
