  I have a two and a half year old Zanussi dishwasher (and, yes it should have lasted longer than that but it didn't) Zanussi wanted £60 just to get someone out to see what the problem was. I told them that the door catch had broken but no, 'it's £60 madam and that's merely to knock on your door.' Well, I looked online and ordered a catch from eSpares for less than £20. Yes ladies you can do it yourself, it was easy to order, very easy to fit and the job is done. You don't need an 'engineer' or even a man - not for that job anyway.

  This is an identical part. Very easy to fit. Turn off the electrical supply, remove the top access cover(and door if built in), undo 2 x screws which holds the part to the door.Remove the spade connectors and replace item.
