i was very pleased with my purchase of the dishwasher door catch it was easy to fit a realy good price(and no callout fees). my wife was very happy as it only took a couple of days to be delivered and 10 mins to fit,not to long without the dishy.

The part arrived promptly. The video of how to fit it was extremely helpful. I did as it showed me, fitted the part, dishwasher now working!! All I needed was a screwdriver. Most impressed (with myself as well).

Part arrived within a couple of days from ordering no problem fitting seems to be a quality item, hopefully will last longer than the original door catch (less than 2 years)

Our built-in Electrolux dishwasher is only about 2 years old so I was quite annoyed that the door lock had broken. But it was dead easy to find the right part and fitting was easier than I'd thought. I needed a 6 pointed star-type screw driver to remove the wood fascia from the front of the machine and open up the door. Then it was just 2 screws to remove the old lock, switch the 2 wires onto the new one, and screw the new one into place. Watching the video beforehand helped though. Now feeling very pleased with myself. Repair company wanted £120 to come and fix it.

Really easy 21 July 2010
We got the replacement door catch for a Zanussi dishwasher. It was really easy to fit, even for someone like me with little repair experience. The catch fitted straight onto the door and lined up perfectly with the two screw holes. Overall took about 5 minutes to replace. It now works perfectly with a satisfying click everytime you close the door.

When my dishwasher door wouldn't close properly I went online to "diagnose" the problem. I then went onto the e-spares website where I quickly found and ordered the product and watched a really useful video clip on how to fit the new door catch. The video was really helpful but made the job appear a lot easier to carry out than it actually was (I have an integrated d/washer & had to remove the door panel). However, I got there in the end and my dishwasher is as good as new. Having never tried to repair a kitchen appliance before, I was really pleased with the result, not to mention the money saved on a repair bill!
