  Cutlery Basket disappointment 02 October 2015

  As this was a genuine product for my Zanussi dishwasher and sizes was supplied don the website, it is actually very small compared to the original and no good at all if you have friends round for a meal as you can't fit all the cutlery in it. I am partly responsible as I should have paid more attention to what I was buying! Also it is very expensive for what it is.

  cutlery basket is easily damaged in normal use , a waste of money and it was not cheap! Lasted 5 months only

  Had a flaw/hole in the base 03 February 2015

  The new basket has a casting defect in that one "wire" segments in the bottom is missing. Forming a small whole. Its still better than the old one though. I had the original ikea/electrolux basket. Soon a dropped knife went through the bottom of the basket. The dishwasher would jam as you rolled back the lower shelf.

  Regular replacement 30 April 2014

  This is the third basket, original plus 2 replacements. They get holes in the base despite loading the cutlery carefully.

  handle too high for Candy CDI45 27 August 2012

  The handle of the basket is too high to fit in the CANDY CDI45. If you place the basket into the dishwasher, the propeller from the dishwasher hits the handle. The handle can be removed from the basket, but not be placed in another position. We now use it without the handle.

  Dasappointed in Quality 24 December 2010

  The on-line search and order process was simple and easy. The items came very quickly and was exactly the right size etc. So far so good. After two uses however the plastic from which it is made has 'stretched' - so the sides of the cutlery basket are no longer rigidly in a straight line but appear 'wavey and buckled'. That said the basket still functions BUT I have found that the quality of the plastic it is moulded in to be poor and I suspect the basket will disintegrate within a few months - watch this space! If this happens then it will be a poor value items let down by the poor quality of the plastic it is moulded from.
