  Great Purchase - Hard to Fit 23 March 2010

  The product is a good genuine replacement for the door (although the one we received was grey but you can hardly see it). Comes with no instructions AT ALL therefore very hard to fit . . . . you will find yourself on the internet searching for fitting instruction.

  Door catch nightmare 17 September 2009

  Prompt service and part exactly what was needed. Due to nature of the part this is an absolute nightmare to fit as you have to take the whole door apart. Thought the fitter (husband) was going to ditch the m/c and order a new one he was so frustrated - and he's a patient man!

  Brilliant..but annoying 06 June 2009

  This spare part does what its supposed to do.The original clasp broke because I feel there is a design weakness. Fitting the part was tricky beacuse the dooor frame holding the glass dome, spring door handle and hinges needs to be held in position and screwed in place. Very tricky and one bit would fall out of place.

  Excellent service, but product could be better 26 May 2009

  As usual, the service from espares was great. P&P for such a small part was a bit steep, but it's just good to be able to get it at all. The product was a genuine Hoover part, but the design is such that the spring can fit in a number of ways (only one of them being correct). It would have been really nice if Hoover had thought to include a little diagram of the correct orientation in the packet.

  The product itself is fine and easy to fit but it is a very weeak point in a good machine as I know of a couple more people with the same machine whose door handle has broken in the same way.

  Door Handle 19 February 2009

  The door handle arrived with no instructions of how to fit it !!!! Having taken the old hanle off and thinking it would be real easy to swop over, how wrong i was. I can't tell you how many times the door was fitted together for the handle still not to work.After 2 hours i decided to go on line and see if anyone knew how to get the tension right on the spring. Thank god someone else had had the problem. The site was called "How do you do that" after following instructions from the site the handle is on and working perfect. No more using a fork to open the door.....Bliss.

  Cheap and Quick 03 February 2009

  I ordered this part for our washing machine on a Monday, it arrived Thursday. Cheaper than Hoover direct. All fitted and working fine.
