Exactly What I Ordered 02 May 2013
I ordered this and it was delivered very quickly. There are no fitting instructions supplied and this caused me no end of problems as the washer door had already been dismantled with no record of how the handle should be assembled. It is not obvious how it should be put together and it may seem common sense to take a photo before dismantling the broken unit but things don't always go to plan HUGE LESSON LEARNED. It took me hours searching the internet to find a picture of the hoover washing machine handle assembly kindly put on a forum page. There was a video on the espares website but it did not match the assembly for the Hoover machine. Hoover manuals were not helpful

The door handle of my Hoover washing machine broke and initially I looked for another door but then found that espares sold just the handle. I watched the 'fit your own door handle' video and it looked straightforward and so I bought one. Getting the door of was fine as was fitting the handle - but I had several goes before it operated as it should as you have to get the spring in just the right place. However, once done it has made the door like new so who can moan that you get a fully working machine for under a tenner!! The spares were genuine Hoover and as good as what came off. In all a good purchase - recommended.

Wahing machine door handle 06 February 2013
Delivery was quick. We had a bit of trouble fitting the new door handle, as the spring was different to that shown in the video. Although the video was helpful, it was difficult to see how the spring was positioned. Having said that, the advice to take pictures of the dismantling was good advice. It took us a while but success was achieved. We are obviously delighted to be able to repair the machine so cheaply.

no video for my Hoover HL7146 door handle 27 January 2013
When I took the long pin out, the spring shot out. It took me a LONG time to work out which way the spring and components fitted. Not simple as the video shows.

How difficult is it to fit this kit !!! 25 January 2013
We purchased this kit to replace broken handle, but was there all day trying to fit spring in right place, even watching the helpful you tube instructions you have on site, unfortunately it wasn't the correct instructions for my machine !!! Watch when you dismantle it so you know where it goes !

Very easy to fit with the right tools 28 November 2012
Good value for money. However without a tork bit and driver you are scuppered. I found the video on how to complete the job very useful. It might be useful if espares offered the tork bit as an additional purchase as its not something the average DIYer would have in their toolbox.

price wasn't bad,delivery average, fitting was almost impossible plus there were no good guides on fitting for this model finally got it working after about two hours and its working perfectly

Recieved this order today, well wrapped and in excellent condition. Could have done with a small diagram of how to fit as the spring was broke in the one that was being replaced. Took a bit of time to fit new one. However I would strongly recommend your company to any one looking for parts.
