Washer paddle performance 29 April 2016
This must be the worst design ever- the six paddle lugs keep on breaking - I have now replaced at least 11 of these units in less than three years. The design is rubbish! Any more failures and I will be throwing away a perfectly good washing machine and replacing with another make - it will work out cheaper in the long run.

Had To buy two of these paddles. That didn't impress me much as the machine is on 18months old. However The ones I received from espares seem to be made of a sturdier material then the originals. The demonstration video is a total waste of time as it is for a different machine. These paddles require no tools to install and just clip in place. I don't give stars to companies I find it childish. But it would appear that one is the minimum.

Useless product 15 February 2013
This review is no reflection on espares. I have purchased other products from espares previously and they dispatched the product promptly as before. For espares I give 5 stars. The problem lies with the manufacturer. I requested 3 washing machine drum paddles to replace those which had broken off. These plastic/bakelight paddles slot into holes in the drum to assist rolling/turning of the clothes during washing. Unfortunately on the second wash 2 of the new paddles broke off. Have decided not to replace again and use machine without paddles.

bought 3 paddles to replace in my drum as originals broken! easy enough to fit but at least 2 out of the 3 paddles have become loose after each wash! Have fitted 3 times today already and used fairy liquid for ease of fit as recommended, are secure enough when fitted initially but soon come out again! very dissappointed! will have to put up with holes in clothes again until i can afford a new machine now, which i will never buy an indesit washer ever again! Ive never had plastic paddles in any machine ive had before and wish id of looked into it b4 buying this one and no one else has ever heard of plastic paddles either!Im sure espares do a very good service its just the poor make of the appliance im afraid.

Bought three at once so I could replace them all which I did straight away. Easy to install, don't look overly reliable with those small plastic pieces. One of the paddles broke and fell out after 4 or 5 loads, the other two remain, for how long, time will tell.

Total waste of time and money 14 March 2021
Bought original part, will not clip and stay in. Yes, it's the genuine part, yes I've repositioned the locating clip, yes I'm locating the lugs, yes I've watched all the videos. IT DOESN'T WORK. A complete waste of time and money - don't bother buying these, just take your old broken paddles and screw them into the drum with self-tapping screws. Hotpoint, Indesit etc. should quit with nasty cost cutting rubbish like this and go back to using stainless steel paddles built into the drum that are maintenance free.
