Part was very easy to fit on an indesit IDL 530. Problem with website as part not included as part for this machine. Took a gamble as looked the same as picture - and it fitted perfectly. Machine up and running in a matter of minutes. Thank you as i don't like dish wash hands. Bit on the expensive side.

Indesit Dish washer Part No ES 492697 17 June 2014
although this the part i required it was only the fact that it looked like what i wanted not from your part description. It is NOT a top arm fixing nut. It is in fact the nut that retains the fitting (that supplies water to the top arm) to the back of the tub & provides the seal to the top arm. I phoned to confirm my hunch that it was what i wanted to be told that he wasn't techniccally minded & there was nobody there that could confirm. I don't know what wording you could use to describe it's function. Possibly a picture?. For what it is i think it was very expesive.

Saved buying a new dishwasher 24 November 2013
Cups and mugs on top shelf weren't coming out clean and I thought I'd have to buy a new dishwasher. Having watched Matt on the video, I bought the fixing nut with seal. It was very easy to install - unscrew the old one and screw in the new. Dishes, once again, spotlessly clean.

Our dishwasher wasn't cleaning too well, and a friend suggested that the top seal may have gone. Ordered this part from espares, it arrived the next day, it was fitted in seconds, and Hey Presto! We now have perfectly clean dishes again!
