  Part was very easy to fit on an indesit IDL 530. Problem with website as part not included as part for this machine. Took a gamble as looked the same as picture - and it fitted perfectly. Machine up and running in a matter of minutes. Thank you as i don't like dish wash hands. Bit on the expensive side.

  although this the part i required it was only the fact that it looked like what i wanted not from your part description. It is NOT a top arm fixing nut. It is in fact the nut that retains the fitting (that supplies water to the top arm) to the back of the tub & provides the seal to the top arm. I phoned to confirm my hunch that it was what i wanted to be told that he wasn't techniccally minded & there was nobody there that could confirm. I don't know what wording you could use to describe it's function. Possibly a picture?. For what it is i think it was very expesive.

  Good DIY repair 25 March 2014

  This was an easy repair to maintain water supply to the top spray arm, helped by the useful video on the web site that gave confidence in using a spanner on the plastic nut. The seal in the new nut is not the best quality as it has large mould marks that could reduce it's effectiveness.
