a spare that I thought was out of production 04 October 2013
when my 20year old built in cooker was starting to burn everything I thought it was to old to get a replacement part. However by going on the internet I found e-spares. I checked for the part I wanted and ordered at 17oo hours on a Thursday night and took delivery of the part on Friday the following day at 1400 hrs. That in my opinion is excellent service by anyone's standard. Excellent

Quite different to original 26 August 2013
Part bought to replace a suspect thermostat in a Creda E010E. The part was good but reviewers should be aware that the original and this spare looked quite different. After careful studying the three electrical leads were attached and it worked fine. But having the lead pins pointing down instead of up (on the original) made it a longer job to swap out to make sure that the minimum position was in-fact correct. Take the advise of the espares help video and take a photo of the old setup before you start.

Had been having trouble with oven getting too hot and burning food. Fitted this part after a little confusion,as it was not the same as the original, but now it bakes and roasts like new.

What a corker! What a corker! 21 March 2011
Excellent product, dispatched very quickly with no problems whatsoever. Took a bit of time to fit, due to the time needed to take off various panels and feed the wire through, but once fitted the oven now works like a dream with cooking times back to the norm. Many thanks e-spares, you have come up trumps again.

After burning a few cakes, biscuits and bread I found that the old thermostat was allowing temperatures to exceed the indicated figure by around 20C. New item fitted to a Hotpoint BS61 relatively easily. Took my time and completed the task in about 45 minutes, including cleaning dust and grime from the kitchen aperture. Hardest part was remembering which oven panel fixings went where as there were four or five different types/ lengths of screw which seemed to have been fitted in a random way! The replacement works at around plus or minus 4C so all is well and we are enjoying our food again!
