  Dont try this at home 20 February 2014

  Would not advise self fitting if machine does not have removeable front. After hours of trying we had to give up and get a repair man. He has returned twice but I am not convinced its properly fitted so now have to get the Hoover Repair Engineer . Not so easy as is made out to be and would recommend get the proper engineer to start with.

  hoover Hnl 6166 door seal replacement 26 June 2010

  read the reviews for the door seal sounded ok so ordered the part.checked video for replacing seal looked easy. nobody used the hoover 6166 to make a video now i know why. Dont even think its easy struggled for 4 hours then thought put the old one back cos i dont own any white clothes guess what the old one doesnt go back now what a disaster. I replaced the seal on the old washer but that was a candy EASY .Would help if the reviews said what machine they had as the seal fits more than 1
