Bosch washing machine door seal. Model WAE24162UK. 13 December 2015
I went for the genuine part but might have been able to save money with the 'pattern' one. The quality was very good and it fitted well. I couldn't have fitted this without the eSpares video. You do need to watch the video carefully and for someone with my level of competance I find that pausing the presentation and 'watching as I go' is a good technique. Matt is right in that the screws are all of the Torx type but doesn't mention that those under the soap dispenser are quite recessed so do make sure that your screwdriver or Torx keys can access these or your job could be delayed. Overall I was very pleased with this and would recommend eSpares. Machine now working well again.

Buying this saved pounds in call out charges and once I had viewed a You Tube video of how to fit it, everything was relatively straight forward. You will need the proper tools for the job though.

Good quality product and very useful demonstration on how to fit it. I detest all aspects of DIY but this job took only 40 mins and saved on call out fees etc... Will absolutely use espares in the future. Thankyou.

Thought it would be worth a try 10 August 2015
When our excellent Bosch washing machine, which has served us well for many years, showed signs that the door seal was beginning to break down, I thought it must be worth trying to replace it. I was particularly impressed by the Espares YouTube video clip, demonstrating how it was done. I followed it exactly and hey presto! the machine was repaired and up and running in less than an hour. Fitting the inner side of the seal was a little tricky due to slight corrosion on the machine, however by rubbing some washing-up liquid around it, everything slipped into place nicely.

On arrival I had already seen video so was able to get straight on with fitting door seal. Took just an hour and after vid was a doddle! jus a pity that the model I have required an expensive BOSCH seal rather than espares own so cost twice as much but still MUCH cheaper than getting in an engineer and so much more satisfying. I scored LOTS of brownie points.

top notch part , ordered 7 pm arrived next morning at 8.30, thats fast. looked at video on how to replace the seal ,job done. all i have to do now is stop the wifes bra wires ripping up the next one.

Bosch Washing Machine Door Seal 29 July 2015
Ordered a genuine Bosch replacement part, selection of the correct part was easy from the web site. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Had never replaced a door seal before but watched on line video a couple of times and 30 mins later all done and working.
