  I made a little mistake here and ordered the wrong filter. Don't get me wrong it's the correct filter for my fridge and it's Samsung and that's the problem, it's not cheap! The last time I ordered from espares I bought two unbranded filters for not much more than I have paid for one and they were perfect. This new one is good, however my water flow is not as strong as when I used the unbranded ones, so I can only think it's filtering the water a little better than previously and doing a better job - who knows! I may order the unbranded ones again to save money though!

  Good filter but too expensive. 06 January 2016

  Have just purchased my second filter. The first was great and came with the fridge freezer. The second one, of which I bought from e-spares is also fine. I have just put this one into the fridge and bought another so I have a spare ready in six months. Fitting is easy and the postage and packing and time scale of delivery was good but I have to say that the cost is far too expensive and really puts people off buying those types of fridge freezers. They should not be so expensive. I think they should be half the price they are.

  though Samsung say 6 months my first filter lasted 6 years. Flow rate improved a little with this replacement. The filter arrived substantially packed and promptly. It was very easy to replace but no recycling advice for old part was found.
