  complete rubbish dont waste your money 27 November 2015

  I understand why this item is so cheap because its rubbish. When I took it out of the box part of the plastic tube was already away from the wire that goes around it so I had to cut that off. It doesn't fit properly into the tumble dryer there are gaps around where it fits in so when I put the tumble dryer on and had the door shut to the room it filled with steam.

  Very Disappointing 17 May 2015

  Moisture was still vented into the room in large quantities. Absolutely no good for intended purpose. Had to revert to putting hose out of window.

  Poor decision to purchase 01 February 2015

  No fixing as described and after two attempts to contact after-sales gave up. The description talks about a fibre filter but not present other than fibres that get caught in water. No way that this can prevent moisture filling room.

  Waste of money 25 February 2014

  Having read mixed reviews I was prepared to give this one a go. But I was disappointed. I took washing off the line which had partially dried, within minutes the walls and glass door were dripping with condensation, had to revert to previous method which I had been trying to ditch. Why, oh why persist in selling an item which patently doesn't do the job. Not like e-spares to do this!

  Any condenser requires a cooler surface to allow passing moisture to settle. If this product is used without 'priming' it with cold water or ice cubes it will be a lot less effective and the results will be disappointing. Even with a full condenser dryer you will notice an increase in room humidity, this can be helped by better ventilation around the appliance.

  Not great - too much condensation 21 November 2013

  I thought it was a great idea no open window. But the true is I can't use it. It gives out so much condesation. I will have to drill in the wall an outlet. Very disappointed with this product.

  Hi Chris Thank you for you response to my comments warning about blocking vents etc. I had a small load in my machine at the time and it was on a delicates setting. I guess the only conclusion I can make is that the product is not fit for purpose. Shame because the idea is great.

  disappointing experiment 23 September 2013

  Was really excited that I would not need to leave a window open whilst drying clothes in the winter months but have been very disappointed with the results. The vents in the top are so large that all the warm moist air just enters the room despite ice water in the box. I have taped over the vent leaving just two small holes which has been partially satisfactory. Will probably end up sending the item back and just get another tube for out the window!

  It is important not to restrict the air flow from a tumble drier as this could cause overheating and possibly a fire. This product helps remove some of the condensation from the dryer but if there is a large load with a high water content it may not be able to cope fully. Try reducing the load and drying on a lower heat as this may improve the results.

  worst purchase ever 29 April 2013

  Product is absolutely ridiculously made vent box has vents on it steam is escaping and causing condensation in my room, it states no more window opening but it's not living up to its expectation so I'm back to hanging the hose outside my window would never recommend this product to anyone who has a tumble dryer.
