Cheap but very short-lived 30 November 2012
A cheap alternative to the original part lasts less than a year before it blows again. I've had two now that have done the same thing - won't make that mistake again. Disappointing.

Looks like genuine, cheap, easy to fit, but only lasted 6 months before element failed again.

Good for one year! 04 October 2012
These are about a quarter of the price of the genuine article, but I have bought two now and each one has failed after exactly a year. (Just past the warranty) I am now going to try the original and see if will last for 4 years. If the genuine version lasts that long, then these are not good value. Look out for an update!

Cheap but lasted just over 1 year 30 September 2012
Replaced my Cooker Fan Oven Element last year and eSpares shows that it was dispatched on 02/09/2011. The element failed on 26/09/2012, after lasting just over 1 year with normal daily use. I know the spare was roughly 1/3 the price of the OEM product but I would have expected it to last for several years. Let's hope the new non OEM element fairs better!

Only lasted 9 months 02 July 2012
My original Bosch heater element lasted many years. The replacement Universal 2300 Watt Fan Oven Element lasted only 9 months. It has been replaced under guarantee without quibble, and the new one is working fine.

poor reliability 11 July 2010
Delivery was quick (3 days), easy to fit but the most important thing is reliability and this element just didn't cut it. After 16 weeks and 3 days the new element failed (internal short) so on this timing if I replace the element with the cheap one it'll cost more than if I replaced with a genuine Neff element which lasted a lot longer than 3 years. Have ordered another 'cheap' element to see if the first was a rogue!

Bosch "value" cooker element 17 December 2012
Im starting to wonder if I should go for the genuine Bosch element at a greater cost? I have had one of these elements EVERY YEAR for the last four years, yes FOUR elements, E-Spares assure me this is the correct element and I have had my oven independently checked, so I can only assume these are sub-standard elements, three have burnt out and the last one changed shape to the extent it fouled the fan. E-Spares are a great company, fast friendly service and fantastic stock, think ill give it one more go.....
