  Washing machine paddle drum 31 January 2016

  My machine broke one of these paddles so I purchased a replacement from espares whose service was prompt and efficient. Another paddle did break so knowing the third could potentially go I ordered three to save on further delivery costs, unfortunately one of the three replacements is loose and ready to break. This is all within a short period of time and a limited amount of wash loads. Going to see if I can find a better quality paddle. Fingers crossed.

  Poor build quality 20 December 2014

  I have had to buy six of these in as many months. I have a Hotpoint Ultima WMUD962 with a 1600rpm spin cycle. We brought the machine due to our family' size and requirements, and the machine has fallen well short of our expectations, this also follows for the replacement drum lifters which are of quite poor build quality and reliability. Unfortunately I have to continue to buy replacements due to our circumstances. Avoid this machine, there are better on the market.

  Poor quality 16 March 2014

  My five year old machine broke one of these paddles a month ago, I purchased a replacement from espares whose service was prompt and efficient. Another paddle went last week so knowing the third could potentially go I ordered two to save on further delivery costs, unfortunately the first replacement has broken.

  There is a problem causing the failure of these paddles. Make sure you are not underfilling when washing towels or jeans as the clothes should touch the bottom of the tub rolling when washing. If you under fill washing can float and get hit by the paddles damaging them.

  After 3 washes, the locating pins have sheared off again. wouldn't recommend these.

  This item is not as good as the original part on a new machine,the plastic lugs tend to snap off after a few months hence replacements from Espares.

  The paddle broke within two weeks of fitting it 18 February 2012

  It took about 10 seconds to fit the paddle; today it had come off and all the holding brackets had broken so need a new one

  Unfortunately both of the drum paddles we had purchased have now broken off and we are going to have to purchase another 2 elsewhere as we are unsure if this has been a faulty batch.

  waste of money 26 February 2011

  All three spare paddles had broken within 3 weeks of fitting. these were the correct type of paddle for my washing machine but one by one they all snapped off! Not sure if this is just a Hotpoint issue but I will not be throwing any more money away to replace these.
