  Replacement filter cartridge 22 November 2014

  I checked the part number and also flow rates to the original to make sure that this is the correct replacement water filter for my Samsung fridge/freezer. I ordered 2 so I have a spare and it was cheaper that way. No problems fitting. Then reset the display on the fridge and the light went out so it shows that it is working correctly. No leaks. Very straightforward.

  Leak risk? 25 June 2014

  This Samsung branded product differed in size and fitting from the previous filter supplied directly by Samsung (but not Samsung branded). The pipes push fitted over the previous filter and were then secured by nuts, the resulting flare caused leakage when the current product was installed. Cutting the flares off solved the problem but I am left a little nervous in that the new push in pipe/pull out collar/ fit clip to hold collar out will remain leak free. As I found out, a little bit of high pressure water can go a long way!

  E Spares? Probably the best ever online parts store! 26 March 2013

  This genuine pack of two Samsung filters was supplied after two "generic" compatible filters leaked. E spares arranged the return of the original items on a no cost/no quibble basis, and located on my behalf the current Samsung manufactured replacements.
