  We have used this product for years in our dishwasher and washing machine. We find once every other month suffices. We live in a hard water area and am convinced it keeps the scale down. It also helps with any residual odors that build up in the machines. Can't prove it but we are convinced it helps and seems quite a good investment at a relatively low price. Just ordered some more Jan 2021

  As I say this product works well & does the job, to be honest anything that will hopefully extend the life of your appliance has got to be a good idea.   I have given it four stars because using it for a dishwasher was a tiny bit more complicated in that you switch the machine on wait for water to start pumping (not sure if I got it right) open the door and pour solution in. When I sprayed and brushed round the door it was excellent cleaned it easily and there was some old crud round the hinges. Washing machine next!

  Only just bought the product. But won’t know if it works or not until I strip down the two machines. But if the foam in both machines (while cleaning) is anything to go by then it is doing its job.
