  The sachets were easy to use and gave quite good results but the machine had never been cleaned before so a few were needed to clear the backlog of dirt

  I have only used the product once so far but can already see an improvement. The machine had not been de-scaled for over a year so I expect to have to use it again soon as the instructions indicate.

  Whether the work or not, not sure but I can say that since I have started to the use them once a month in the clothes washer and dish washer I have yet to call Hotpoint out for a repair :-) and thats' over 3 years
