This filter is not an exact replacement for the original Dyson part, but it fits easily an appears to work so far.

Not quite the same as original 11 August 2015
The original post motor filter is an assembly with a yellow plastic carrier. The replacement is the bare filter sheet without the plastic carrier and is a larger diameter. I have assumed that a seal will be made against the grey plastic cover of the filter location and have ditched the yellow plastic carrier.

A good alternative to the original 21 September 2015
The post motor filter is the same quality as the original filter. It is slightly larger than the original but still fits in the housing of my DC04 & performs just as well. Apart from quality, the obvious selling point is the lower price than the Dyson part.
