  Looked around for supplier as so called for life filter had irreversibly blocked. Had used espares before so was confident in supplier. Clipped in with no problems and suction vastly improved.

  Direct replacement for original Dyson part. They stopped supplying some spares for the DC03, DC04 or DC05 in 2014 and were way more expensive when you could get them. This part is almost identical to the original and a fraction of the price.
