My sister gave me an inferior product which kept dropping of! Didn't know these existed but wow, every oven should have them fitted as standard, come on someone get the ball rolling!!

These guards are great and they do work, heat proof to Gas 10 so no worries of them melting.Only drawback i found in the beginning of having them, was remembering to lift trays slightly when taking out of oven so as not to catch the guards. But not a problem really, just an observation.

I wish I had known about these sooner, it would have saved a lot of scarring. These truly are a godsend. Easy to fit. When used for the first few times they do give off a smell but other than that, a brilliant product.

Bought these shelf guards as I kept burning my arms when retrieving dishes and plates out of the oven. So easy to put on and they certainly do work. Wish I had bought them sooner, would have saved me a few scars.

Terrific safety guard 07 October 2013
Just bought a new oven - and saw these guards advertised. What a good idea. We do a lot of baking - and quite often l have just caught my arm on the hot oven rail. Scars to prove it. These are so simple - but so good.

When these guards arrived, I thought that they would not fit the oven shelves properly, however I was quite pleased to find that because of how the opening has been cut, they do actually fit snugly and are quite secure.
