  Spindle too long 21 April 2016

  Spindle 10mm too long for Hotpoint HAE60 oven - needs spacers and to swap holding bolts or the fan hits the cover inside - as per many other reviews. Espares should note this and explain.

  Get what you pay for 19 April 2016

  I bought the fan as a non branded replacement for an Indesit cooker. I was aware it may need some finessing to work and was proved right. The fan spindle is longer than the OEM model so I had to fit spacers to hold the motor back from its mounting point. If you buy this product, buy approximately 3 inches worth of washers and the product will work like a charm. Delivery was subpar however, the box the fan came in had been shredded inside as the motor with attached fan had bounched around. This was due to no padding being placed in the box. The fan was too bent to use however it was identical to the existing fan so I used that instead. Delivery was quick however. Overall, the product was described but the delivery method left a little to be desired. Would buy from espares again

  Not like for like fitting on the Cannon C60 but will fit 29 March 2016

  This universal fan motor has a shaft of 20mm, the Cannon C60 requires a shaft to 11mm. To get the fan motor to fit it is necessary to fit spacers between the motor mount and the motor itself. Once fitted it seems to work fine :-)

  check length of shaft 07 March 2016

  check the length of the shaft as this one is about 20mm from the base plate to the shoulder on the shaft which means the fab blades hit the cover

  Be prepared to improvise 06 January 2016

  Fitted fan to Hotpoint Double Oven. Found back panel made contact with fan blades. Had to insert packing pieces (washers) and also bend fan blades (fortunately made of tinplate) to adjust clearance. All OK now.

  Just the job 20 October 2015

  This was exactly what we needed, good quality and easy to fit. Only a slight thing that would have made it a 5 star experience, would have been the addition of a gasket. As the one in the old one fell to pieces when the old fan motor was removed.

  Oven Fan Replacement 15 September 2015

  This is a good product that is relatively easy to fit. Although slightly different to the original it did not throw up any issues when installing that were not simple to fix. On our Zanussi oven we had to replace the fixing screws with 1/2" number 8's qty.3. Simples. Just spend 5 minutes viewing the e-spares video before fitment and remember that the fan nut is LEFT HAND THREAD. Oven is now nice and quiet again and the boss is very happy

  Needed tweaking to fit but works well 06 August 2015

  I was aware of a possible problem with the length of the shaft when I purchased, but took a chance as it's so much cheaper than the "official" spare. The shaft was actually over 10mm too long, but I was able to compensate by a) unscrewing the motor frame and adding packing washers, b) using two insulation pads (new one plus the old one), c) adding packing washers behind the fan cover. The fan itself was exactly the same size as the original. As a result it works fine, but if you're not prepared to mess around like that only purchase if the measurements exactly match your existing one.
