Good but difficult to fit 18 March 2013
A quarter of the price of the manufacturer's part but as a universal product, not worth it as it took too long to adapt it to fit.

Main oven works like new 04 March 2013
I needed a new oven fan for my Zanussi oven. The espares web site identified the universal fan as a replacement for the original. However, when it arrived it was obvious that the fan mountings were different. Checked the order number and it was the right fan sent. With a bit of work & having found some long bolts and spacers I got it to fit. Works a treat but REMEMBER, IT IS NOT A STRAIGHT SWAP.

Not quite Universal after all! 20 February 2013
Although the fan was in good order, unfortunately it did not fit on to the back plate of my oven as Whirlpool saw only fit to provide a narrow metal band with curling lip. After removing the metal plate from the spindle using a drill and re-mounting by adding extra holes to my oven it now at least works. If you need a new fan I would recommend it but check out the dimensions of your oven first. E-spares indicated it would fit our Whirlpool oven but this was not the case so do measure out beforehand!

Fast and efficient 27 December 2012
Ordered the fan on Wednesday and it arrived Thursday! Excellent service ! Quality of product excellent , Only possible improvement would be to include fittings such as screws as the ones from my oven didn't fit new fan and had to be sawn in half which made the job much harder!!

GOOD PRICE,FAIRLY ROBUST,EXCELLANT AS MOTER FOR MY COOKER DISCONTINUED. FITTING OK , WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER IF FIXING PLATE SMALLER DIA. & FIXING POSITIONS FOR MOTER COIL INTERCHANGEABLE. BACKING WASHER COULD BE LARGER & PERHAPS ALTERNATE THICKNESES SUPPLIED.

Did the Job "Just" 19 October 2012
The new fan mountings had differant centres to the original, therefore required spacers on the bolts and had to be rotated approximately 15deg to locate original mounting. This also required the internal electrical wiring to be extended. The new fan is now fully operational.

The fixing holes were in different places to the original. Also the spindle was significantly longer. Consequently, the back panel of the oven had to be redrilled and the fan modified.

Not identical to original part 14 August 2012
Even though the motor eventually did the job, it was not identical to the original part even though the model number was identical. It had to be modified with spacers. Also the fan was smaller than the original.

got this item for my indesit double oven ,although very similar i had to modify the fitting to the oven by spacing out the enamel cover but other than that it was 60% cheaper than the genuine item

Not quite universal... 24 July 2013
Managed to fit this after removing the plate, drilling holes into the back of the oven and screwing it directly onto the back of the appliance. So it works, but it was not universal enough to be sold as such. (This is for an AEG Competence)
