  Identical to one removed other than the screw orientation was different, and as you have to remove all the fixings to refit, it was a minor jigsaw of correct orientation, took about 20 minutes to sort out, but once sorted it all went together well. Takes longer to remove the range and all the panels than fit the fan!

  Good value replacement 13 January 2017

  Obtaining replacement on line was simple and secure. The replacement was delivered by courier as promised within a one hour time slot. Removal and fitting of the replacement fan was simplicity itself using the video guides available on the e-spares website. The replacement works perfectly.

  This part was fairly easy to replace with two people would have been tricky with one. It all fitted perfectly although we had to use the old fan as the new one was bent, luckily it was the actual motor that was broken, and not the fan. Once again great service from espares, video really useful.

  This universal part needed the mounting plate from the original motor transferring - no real problem. The 'How to' video clip wasn't a lot of use for the Tecnik oven, The main difficulty fitting the motor was removing and refitting the insulating quilt on the back of the oven, It disintegrates and isn't readily available as a replacement. I had to make one from cooking foil and fibreglass insulation.

  The universal fan was not quiet identical and needed some 10mm spacer washers before it fitted correctly and longer screws .No real problem

  Not a straight swap 27 November 2016

  I bought this fan motor to replace the broken one on our Hotpoint range cooker. The flange was larger than the old one so it would not fit into the recess on the back of the oven. This meant the supplied screws were too short so I had to buy longer ones. The larger flange also meant I needed to bend a small section of the oven casing down to allow it to sit flat. The final problem I encountered was that as the fan was now sitting some 4mm away from where it should be, the spindle for the fan didn't quite go far enough through into the oven which meant I needed to put a washer on the spindle before attaching the fan otherwise it fouled against the back of the oven. I needed to slightly bend the fan blades to get his all to fit as I was running out of thread on the end of the spindle! Apart from my fitting woes, the fan is excellent. In fact my wife says it performs better now than it did when it was new as it appears to be more powerful.

  Good product 24 November 2016

  This product was in general easy to install to the oven. I would have provided 5 stars if I could have used the new fan...but for some strange reason it kept rubbing off the oven Wall under testing prior to powering up. I did check the new fan for defects but there were none. So i utilised the old fan and it worked like a dream. The oven is fully operation once more. Thanks espares!

  This was not a direct swap for the old fan. I had to dremel off the mounting plate, drill new locating holes in the oven and space adjust with washers. However, now it is fitted it is working a treat.

  Not quite right! 18 August 2016

  I purchased this fan to replace a very noisy one. Before placing the order I gave espares details of the oven in question and was advised that this model was the correct replacement. However, I found that the mounting plate was not correctly drilled to match the oven frame and so I had to swap it for the original plate. Secondly, the spindle projected too far into the oven and the fan blades fouled the protective cover, so I had to fit longer motor mounting bolts with locknuts in order to adjust the shaft length.
