  Good, but beware 09 January 2009

  Bought this seal for a Belling 540 top oven. I liked the look of it and the design is simple and effective. Problem is, the Belling 540 top oven has rounded corners and the supplied right angle brackets would have resulted in a seal rectangle SMALLER than the oven. I decided NOT to drill new mounting holes further from the corners and instead used the curved corner brackets stripped from the old seal. This works fine, but if I'd thought about it properly beforehand, I'd probably have paid the extra for the pukka curved-corner Belling seal.

  a good alternative to origanal 05 January 2009

  Need DIY skill to fit as clips did not fit had to drill four holes one each corner. Came with good cut to size guide very usefull. Rubber needs to be thicker to give a better cushion extra left incase you make mistake so take a few minutes to work out your fitting.

  replacement door seal 05 January 2009

  simple instructions on how to fit easy to follow however the corner fitment slightly smaller than the original which made the seals slightly sag into oven housing this is easy to overcome by redrilling 4 new 3 mil holes roughly 5 mil offset from existing, overall product a good replacement part and a lot cheaper than an original belling seal

  Our oven is no longer made and after searching several sites for spares we discovered 'espares'. The product is good quality, the instructions were clear and it was fitted easily in 10 minutes.

  This does what it says on the packet, creates a good seal around your oven so that the heat does not seep out. Easy to fit with good instructions. Very pleased with next day delivery.
