  Good Principal, Poor Design! 29 July 2012

  HDL soft plastic cover is a poor design, the line holes enlarge very quickly with use causing sharp edges that cuts through the line, also the snap-on fixing lugs become brittle. B&D should replace cover with harder wearing reinforced plastic or metal.

  DESIGN FAULT 26 June 2011

  Previous cap had to be replaced as cord cut through plastic making hole for cord too large; resulting in cords snapping. Used the new cap twice but already signs of cutting.
