  This lever needs to be redesigned. 27 July 2015

  Whilst ths product is easy to fit and is a direct replacement for the original part, in my opinion it needs to be redesigned. This is the third time I have had to replace the lever on my lawnmower as it splits at the pivot point making it impossible to start the mower. Thankfully they are not too expensive to replace but the manufacturers need to give some thought to strengthening the lever at this weak point. The service from eSpares is excellent meaning the replacement part arrives quickly.

  Design weakness 14 May 2011

  No complaints about supplier except took time to come, due delayed delivery from Manufacturer. There is a weakness in the design of the mower control, being weak & is bound to fail over time.

  Lawnrake Positioning Lever 02 June 2010

  The lever came really quickly - well done e-spares. I would endorse a previous reviewer's advice - after fitting the new lever, put a stop on the frame of the rake so that the pressure on the pivot point (where the old lever cracked) is lessened. I used an old bit of wine cork plus tape.

  easy to fit 19 November 2009

  this part was easy to replace, you have to use a little force to remove the old one, the new one just presses in to place, had more trouble keeping the switch & wires in place! just make sure the flat metal spring is in the right place.
